Background
With my background as "Siviløkonom" from Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and courses in Psychology and Social Anthropology from University of Bergen I have been working within the Finance, management processes and executive management most of my working life. Experience
Management experience as CEO, CFO, division/group manager and project manager of IT-projects. Main focus is Management processes, employee's involvement and team development, developing strategy and business plans as well as follow up procedures. Worked with companies mainly within IT, Telecom, E-commerce and Banking industry:
- Management Consulting, coach and project manager in Incatel (later EDB Telecom/Comptel), a company developing and selling Network Inventory solutions for Telecom operators world wide.
- CEO at Telenor Pos AS, a Norwegian company focusing on electronic payment systems, both for EftPos and e-commerce (turn around assignment).
- Strategic IT - Architecture Manager in OPTUS Communications, a Telecom operator in Sydney, Australia.
- Involved with the turn around operation of Norwegian Telecom as a government owned monopoly to a more market oriented limited company, Telenor AS. Engaged both by the Business Network Division as Head of Finance and IT and in the Finance Department being involved with the follow up systems of the new organisation and developing of the Product Accounting system. As a project manager also responsible for a evaluating and establish a project for a new customer care and billing system.
- CFO and Vice president (temporary CEO) at IDA, a company developing and running IT-systems for the Norwegian Commercial banks
- Served as a board member to different limited companies.
